Wordpress.com Business plan can host Theme X?

Hi there,

We are looking for a new host, and it seems that Wordpress.com Business allow custom themes. Do you know if any customers have successfully used your theme on this hosting provider?

Initially, I wanted to try but then saw Cornerstone plugin mentioned as one of the ‘forbidden’ plugins: https://wordpress.com/support/incompatible-plugins/. We don’t user cornerstone editor on our site, we used to us WP Bakery but converted everything to Gutenberg, not sure if this helps.

Thanks for writing in! If Cornerstone is not allowed to run in WordPress.com Business, then you cannot use the X theme as well because several features of the theme depends on the plugin. It needs to be active when using the X theme.
