WordPress Block Quote Styling

I’m using Pro with the Integrity layout and the standard Header and Footers (not custom Build versions).

1. When using a quote block in a Blog Post, I would like to by default display a light grey background color, how is this achieved (I assume in CSS)?
2. Also want to insert the quotation marks by default each time it’s used.

Firstly, please note that any customization not related to the theme goes beyond the scope of our support such a customizing the elements that comes with the Wordpress core.

However, what you are trying to do can easily be done through CSS. It would easier if you learn how to inspect the elements on the page so that you could write the CSS selector to target the elements you want to style.

To help you get started, the Wordpress blockquote uses the class wp-block-quote.
