Wordpress 5.7 jQuery updates with X

Hello! On March 9th Wordpress is updating to 5.7. The jQuery update that is coming along with it may cause issues with plugins with old code. I am getting several deprecations from X theme. These are the deprecations that were logged:

Are you aware of this update and planning to make the necessary updates to X? Thanks.

Hi @Script0rium,

Thanks for the heads up on these. I can get the X one updated for today’s point release. These are just deprecation warnings which help developers communicate their intention to change APIs. It will still work when WordPress 5.7 is released either way.

Thank you! I’ve also heard from several plugins, such as gravity forms, that there may be some X theme conflicts with the Wordpress 5.7 and jQuery updates. Are these things on your radar? Is there anything I need to do?

Hello @Script0rium,

Our developers are currently testing the theme’s latest version with the upcoming WordPress release. A new theme release will be rolling when it is needed as soon as WordPress 5.7 is out.

Best Regards.
