Woocoomerce product description is not showing

Hi

On my page www.revdop.de/shop in the product views the tabs for product description are not showing although they are activated in x -> theme optioins -> woocommerce.

What can be the reason for this issue? Plugins, WP and Woocommerce are up to date. Change to another theme is fixing this. So the source of the issue should be the x-theme.

Thanks a lot!
Mitko

Hi Mitko,

Thanks for reaching out.
It seems that the Product does not have any content to show. I would suggest you add some content to the Product and check if that resolves your issue.

If not, please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

Thanks

Hey trustup,

thank for your reply. There should be content. Did you look at a real product in the shop? Eg. this: https://revdop.de/produkt/luftkanal-1-8-2-0-tsi-1-6-2-0-tdi-motoren-mqb/

If there you can also see no content I will give you the credentials.

Thanks

Hi Mitko,

If you are referring to the marked section in the given screenshot as content, it is coming from the Short Description.

To get the Description Tab you need to add the content as shown in the given screenshot in the previous comment. If that is already added, there might be some different reasons behind your reason. I would like to suggest troubleshooting the following common issue to help us to recognize the reason.

1.Theme Related Issue
2.Plugin Conflict
3.Theme Update related issue
4.CSS/JS Customization
5.Disabling Cache
6.Disabling CDN

If you discover that an issue is coming from a custom code or 3rd party plugin, kindly consult with a developer or contact the plugin author. Please note that we do not provide support for custom codes and 3rd party plugins.
If none of the above help, please copy your live site to a staging server so we could troubleshoot freely without breaking your live site.
And give us access to the secure note including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

Thanks

Hi

I don´t referring to the marked content in the given screenshot. I referring to Description Tab. There is conten as you can see in the screenshot.

Troubleshooting 1. - 6. did not help. At step 1. the problem goes away when I deactivate X-Theme.

Will send you credentials in a secure note.

Thanks!

Hi Mitko,

Unfortunately, there is no staging server URL for further investigation. Can you please create it and let us know once it is ready for access.

Thanks

Hi

I am working on it. Need a few days.

Thanks
Mitko

Hi Mitko,

Please let us know once it is ready to access.

Thanks

Hi Mitko,

After a thorough investigation, it has been found that the WooCommerce templates are overridden in the X theme by adding the folder, and specifically, the tabs.php file has been modified and it is just blank. I went ahead and uploaded the theme by downloading it from your Themeco Account and now the description is showing. Please, remember that we don’t offer any support to the modified Theme or related issues.

NOTE: There is no WooCommerce folder exists in the X theme.

Thanks

Thanks a lot! That fixed the issue.

Best regards
Mitko
