Woocommerce Wholesale Pro - Emails are not being sent

Hi guys,

I’m hoping you can help us troubleshoot the problem on our newly developed website.

The Problem:
We’ve installed Woocommerce Wholesale Pro from Barn2 which allows people to register as Wholesale customers, which sends an email to admin for review and approval. And on approval sends customer a confirmation email with a link etc. The problem is that these specific emails are not sending. (All other website and woocommerce emails are sending just fine) We reached out to the Barn2 support people, and when they recreated a small website on their end using the pro theme and the same plugins, and they claim that it’s the theme that is blocking the emails.

The wierd thing:
I have the exact same theme and plugins running for another very similar client right now, but all the emails work 100% fine. Almost identical websites in terms of software etc.

We have tried all the usual methods of troubleshooting, and nothing has worked.

Could you guys please help us figure out if it is infact the theme, or something else? I know it’s a 3rd party plugin, but the root of the problem seems to be the theme?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @ChrisDeBruyne,

By withdrawing the post, I believe you already have resolved the issue. If the issue still existed, you can let us know.

Thanks.

Wait wait, I don’t want to delete my whole question. Just that one reply above that was done in error

Hi @ChrisDeBruyne,

The problem you are still having can’t be recognized from your first post. Can you please mention that once again for further assistance?

Thanks

Hello,

Yes sure. Long story short, it appears PRO is blocking the Woocommerce Wholesale plugin from sending emails from the website. Is there any kind of assistance you can provide to help us get this working properly?

Thanks,
Chris

Hi Chris,

Can you please activate any default theme like TwentyTwenty and check if the issue is resolved or not? If not, there is something else is blocking the email, you may need to check your SMTP configuration. If the email problem is solved after activating the default theme, it might me the problem with the 3rd Party plugin. I would request you contact the plugin author on that case.

Thanks
