Woocommerce theme interfere with Cornerstone/Xtheme?

Hi

Im building a ecommerce site and my goal for my product page is in my attachment.

My coding skills are very limited and I realize that Cornerstone/Xtheme doesn’t offer to simply front end build this design. So that leaves me to buy a Woocommerce theme.
My question is then how can I know before I buy that theme that is not going to interfere with my exisiting Xtheme/cornerstone setup?

Or do you have any other recommendation that will simplify to reach my goals?

Your question is actually a bit general since we are not sure what plugin you are using and how it operates to have the product templates.

Since this is a third party plugin, it would be best to direct the question to them since they should be able to provide you with the complete information regarding this question since they cater to customizing the display of the product display page.

I mean is a “wordpress theme” like Xtheme and a “woocommerce theme” two separate installations that can work simultaneously.

So If I buy a woocommerce theme and install it… xtheme will still work on that same page/site?

Hi @fveermets,

You can only activate one template at a time in Wordpress so if you install and activate the woocommerce theme you are using, that is the template you will be using for your website and not X.

so if I want to keep xtheme, and want major design changes on shop, category and product page I need to dive into CSS coding?

Have themeco plans to increase its woocommerce content in xtheme?
For now its four demo shops and Im sorry to say none of them suit my business.

Yes, you will need to modify the shop items in the shop index or product category pages by editing the template files and make use of custom css.

By they way, our developers will be developing a layout builder that you can use and assign to the archive pages and most of all, the WooCommerce pages. We do not have an ETA though of when it will be released.
