WooCommerce works fine when I’m using the X Theme, however when I activate the X child theme (even an empty one I just downloaded) the states drop-down is empty. It’s actually empty, not just hidden.
All plugins and themes are up-to-date. I’ve disabled all other plugins and it’s still not working.

It turns out I had some javascript code unexpectedly affecting the state drop-down. All is good now!
