Woocommerce single page product and calendar integration

Hello,

I’m making a page product through which the user should be first seeing like a calendar of available dates, then book that day, decide the time of day (and possibly also how long) and then it should be brought to a booking page in which there is like a ‘name your price’ sort of thing, but on which the minimal and maximum price should always and anyway be multiplied based, or on the quantity of singular hour sessions (like some kind of article quantity sort of thing) if the hour multiplier with the calendar cannot be done directly, or, if it can be done, directly derivate from the booked hours in the calendar. Whichever is the easiest, is for me the better. How could I achieve at best something like this?

Thanks!

Hi There,

You can take a look at this plugin:

Hope it helps

Hey Thai, thanks for your answer again,

However, to start off with, I find a 250$ plug-in a bit too expensive… I think there are other plug-ins out there that offer similar functions and are not so expensive, right? I already found one, but, it doesn’t have an extensive WooCommerce support. And like I said, it would be better with WooCommerce, but it’s not a must either.

Furthermore, you already suggested me a plug-in before which I bought, because not so expensive and while it does a good job, coming the suggestion from you, I though it could have also a good integration and support together with Pro and SuperFly’s, but, also from what your colleagues said, apparently not really.

So, if it’s possible, I’d like to not add additional plug-ins and do as much as possible through, or in integration with, Pro.

Thanks!

Hello Alberto,

Thanks for updating the thread.

As for more options you can take a look at WordPress.org plugin repository and https://codecanyon.net/ for more options. Regarding integration, we can definitely look at possibilities provided there’s community demand for a particular plugin.

Thanks.

Hello Prasant,

Thanks for your reply. I had a look at both and I might have found theoretically a few options, which, just from what they show, I like. But unfortunately, I have no experience with any of them or their teams, so, I cannot be sure beforehand, if a specific plug-in or another, will fit my needs. For example, like I said, the ‘name your price’ feature would be very important, so a plug-in needs to have that function well implemented somehow.

Moreover, like I said, I have no idea of how well a specific plug-in would integrate with Pro and how easily and thoroughly customizable with CSS it is, without needing custom development. So, in this regard, I’d like to ask you, or any of your colleges, if you have any experience in this direction and therefore advices?

Thanks

Hello Alberto,

Thanks again for asking!

All plugins which is well coded and follows WordPress standard should work with Pro.
Regarding customization and styling, you have to do with CSS or any custom code with the child theme so that it wouldn’t affect in theme update in future.
Regarding your question about CSS, it completely depends on your design and features you looking for. You may need custom development for that or can be done using CSS.

Thanks

Hello Basanta,

I see, so today I spent a longer time trying a few plug-ins and while I cannot be completely sure, because with most of them, you cannot try to full array of features until you pay, I don’t seem to find any plug-in that clearly includes or well supports (also through WooCommerce Booster), the ‘Name your Price’ function. Do you have any experience and/or suggestion to better address me in this direction?

Thanks

Hi Alberto,

Users are usually create addons for Woocommerce if the feature they are looking for are not available, then they sell it too. I did some Woocommerce addons before and from my personal experience, it’s best creating this from scratch than customizing an existing addons. As you could do it in your own way without the limitation of those addons. You could consult it to a developer for much better implementation.

Thanks!

Hi Rad,

I see, but I guess, that would require a longer time and learning curve, than just trying to customize a pre-created plug-in with a good support, right?

And also for custom development, I see that there are several websites where custom development is offered, would you then have any advice, regarding specifically, Wordpress, Pro and WooCommerce?

Thanks!

Hey Alberto,

Yes you are correct. It will take time. On the other hand, pre created plugin even with good support might also become complicated depending on the customization which may also takes time.

We recommend that you pick a developer who are very much familiar or has been dealing with WooCommerce customizations.

Hope this helps.
