Woocommerce shop page - elements

hi there,

i have this idea to insert elements into the shop page via shortcode.
i just cant find shortcodes for elements…

if that is not possible would it be possible to use elements in widgets? somehow?

i need a pop-up window or accordion on the shop page…

Thanks for reaching out.

I suggest that you will use Global Block where you can still use the elements. After creating your global blocks it will give you a shortcode and you can copy and paste it to your shop page.

i found another solution using a shortcut directly from “convert plus” :wink:
and what would be the problem just building a cornerstone page and defining that as the “shop” page? why does it bring problems?

Hi Kai,

That’s great that you have found another solution to that.
And regarding the Shop page, is a WooCommerce reserved page and rendered with the specific shortcode and contents. And it will override the content if anything is added previously.
Currently, it’s not recommended to edit WooCommerce reserved pages through the builder due to hook conflict.
I would recommend using the standard editor (WordPress editor) for WooCommerce reserved pages.

maybe i could make a block-page and define it as a shop page? is that more compatible? and can i acutally mix cornerstone an block pages in one project?

Hi Kai,

I would suggest you create a page with Block editor and set as the Shop page as you are doing it. And you can mix up the pages created using the Block editor and Cornerstone in the same site, just remember that the content added through the Cornerstone editor is not editable in the Block or Gutenberg editor, and vise-versa.
