WooCommerce Product Variation Image in Pro Layout

I’d like the product image to update to the Variation image for that product, however when a variation is selected from the drop down menu the product image doesn’t update accordingly.

Also, if there a way to swap out the drop down menu for thumbnail images of the variations with the variation name underneath?

Regretfully there is no option at the moment. It would require custom development. I would suggest you contact a developer who can assist you with your concern. Please note that we don’t provide custom development support. It is out of the support scope.

Are you referring to using variation thumbnail images instead of the drop down menu? Or updating the product image based on the selected variation? Or both?

Seems like changing the product image based on the variation selected should be a standard out of the box solution. If you’re missing features like this, then the development of this theme is incredibly disappointing and puts you far behind competitors.

We have two WooCommerce dynamic elements that you can use. The Product Image and the Product Gallery elements.

If you have used the Product Image, it will only display the assigned featured image. It will not work with variable products. It is best that you use the Product Gallery so that in your single product page, you will have a product featured image, a gallery or display the images for variable products.
