Woocommerce product page navigation

Woocommerce Shop page when changed to display categories is horrid. So I created a custom shop page, left the Woocommerce “Shop page” blank.

Problem is navigating back to custom shop page from product page. What is there in the Ethos theme is a .entry-top-navigation .entry-parent that links back to Woocommerce shop page when active or stays on product page when Woocommerce shop page is blank.

How do I change its path to link back to my custom shop page?

Thanks for the assistance. I will look into it.

X does such a nice job when Shop page set to products, it is unfortunate that that X does nothing when Shop page set to categories.

I tried the information on the links provided. They did not work to the extent I needed.

What I opted for was to use the Redirect plugin to redirect the default shop url to my custom shop page url. It works great so far.
