hi there,
i have a rev-slider active in all productpages but don’t want it there. the masthead option in the page editor are not availabe (of course). so my question is why is the slider there in the first place (the shop page does not have one) and how can i deactivate it?
thanks a lot! kai
Hi there,
Thanks for posting in.
It’s added to your child theme’s functions.php
function add_custom_slider(){ ?>
<?php if ( is_home() || is_single() ) : ?>
<div class="custom-slider">
<?php putRevSlider( 'header-kuk-1' ); ?>
</div>
<?php endif; ?>
<?php }
add_action('x_after_view_global__topbar', 'add_custom_slider');
If that code was meant to be displayed in single post pages then please change this is_single() with this is_singular('post'). That’s because is_single() means single post, single product, single event, and all other single pages.
Cheers!
hi rad,
thanks so much! i was not aware of that anymore…
i wanted the slider on the main blog index page but not on the others.
how would the code look like for only the main blog index page?
thanks a million! kai
Hi Kai,
Please try:
function add_custom_slider(){ ?>
<?php if ( !is_front_page() && is_home() ) : ?>
<div class="custom-slider">
<?php putRevSlider( 'header-kuk-1' ); ?>
</div>
<?php endif; ?>
<?php }
add_action('x_after_view_global__topbar', 'add_custom_slider');
Please check here for more reference.
Hope this helps.
perfect! thanks a million and have a great day! kai
Glad we could help.
Cheers!
