WooCommerce Product images to proportionally fill area

Good afternoon,

all of my products are square in size. I am finding that when I put them into the product page they are not proportionally filling the area width wise, so there is a bit gap between the image and description on the right.

Here is a screenshot and the yellow block is what I wish for it to cover:

Thanks for writing in!

I am using a large monitor and this is what I am seeing.

On my end, a 600x600 image dimension is displayed. Can you please check which image dimension is displayed in your screen?

Good afternoon and thank you for the reply,

I have a large iMac Screen and it is the same - 600x600

In reality the image is 1093 by 1093 pixels

Hello Jason,

Even if you upload 1093 by 1093 pixels, the single product catalog image is 600x 600 only. You can change this setting if you want to display full image. Simply go to Appearance > Customize > WooCommerce > Product Images. You will need to change the 600 into a bigger size. After that, please go to the plugins section and install “Regenerate Thumbnails” plugin so that the product image sizes can be regenerated.
