Woocommerce: Processing Order emails not auto-sending to customers

We were just made aware of an issue with our site where the Processing Order emails are not being automatically sent to customers. Other order status notifications are being sent as normal (for example the confirmation sent to us once a web order is placed).

I installed the Post SMTP plugin a few days ago in order to track the status of emails being sent from the site, and all seem to be functioning as normal, with the exception of the Processing Order messages (these aren’t being automatically triggered at checkout, but can be sent manually after the fact - I attached an annotated screencap of the log demonstrating this).

After searching around online quite a bit and coming up empty handed on a working solution I’m completely stuck at this point. Any help would be appreciated!

Hi there,

Thanks for writing in.

Unfortunately, we can’t provide any support on this issue. This is more related to host email and Woocommerce processes. I recommend contacting a Woocommerce developer or community and also reach out to your hosting provider to get details about the abnormality of email processes.

Thanks for understanding.

Hi Rad,

Thanks for the reply. My confusion comes from the fact that this issue didn’t start until right around the time we updated to the newest version of X Theme. Prior to this, everything was working as it should.

Hi there,

In that case, please restore it back to the working copy of your site. Then clone it in staging and update it there, then we can simply check it in staging and compare it to the working one.

Thanks!
