WooCommerce Lightbox Showing Header and Footer

Hi,

I just started using WooCommerce for one of my customers and see that they have added a lightbox to their product image gallery. Which is nice. What is not nice is that it shows up in the weirdest way. The header and footer are still visible and overlapping the product image. And the X is hard to see. Is there a styling fix for this? I’ve never had a lightbox want to show the header and footer on top of the product image.

I’ve been searching for the right place to perhaps fix the z-index, but have yet to find it.

Hello Jen,

Thank you for the very detailed post information.

To resolve this issue, please edit your header and also the footer. Please make sure that the z-index of each bar settings is only set to at least 999 because at the moment it is set at 9999 where as the z-index of the lightbox is only 1500. The z-index of the bar settings should only be smaller than the z-index of the lightbox.
