WooCommerce Lightbox Not Working

On early 2017 WooCommerce released 3.0 which was a major update which added better functionality to the product image display.

In order to avail of these new features, you must be using a WooCommerce compatible theme that has specifically opted in to support the new gallery features.

Seeing that WooCommerce is packaged in with Theme X and it’s nearly a year since its release I thought that would have been enough time for support to fix the issue.

The thumbnails are opening up huge when clicked. This looks crazy and I need to get it fixed, preferably without installing another plugin.

Please help me.

Make sure X, WooCommerce and WP are updated to the latest version.

If the issue persists, please provide your website so we can take a closer look.

I found the problem. I was running a Child of X.
How do I avoid this in the future when running a Child Theme?

Please follow our changelog before performing updates.

This is not something that you will need to worry not nearly often, but you it is always recommended to check our changelog anyway :slight_smile:
