Hello,
We have configured two layout templates for our WooCommerce products. The first serves standard/simple products, and the second serves variable products. Within the last few days our website began applying the standard/simple product layout template to the Cart and Checkout pages. This occurred without explanation and without updates to any of our plugins…
The layout gets applied the moment the page is saved with the [woocommerce_cart] shortcode present. Alternatively, the moment the page gets officially assigned as the cart - even without the shortcode - in WooCommerce settings, the layout gets applied. This effectively renders the store unusable, as there is no way to view the cart (though the modal mini cart does still work) and no way to checkout.
I’ve attached three screenshots:
- Screenshot 1: How the page should appear.
- Screenshot 2: A view from the Page Builder the moment we enter [woocommerce_cart] but BEFORE pressing save.
- Screenshot 3: A view of the Page Builder the moment AFTER pressing save. You’ll see the product layout template has taken over, eliminated any info about the cart, and thrown an error message in the upper right corner. Note that although the error message mentions a third-party plugin conflict, we removed all plugins to test and the behavior still persists.
In addition to deactivating all plugins, we also updated to Pro v5+ but that had no improvement. We’ve also verified the conditional logic rules aren’t inadvertently setting the layout to appear on Cart and Checkout pages.
We’re at a loss here… ideas?
Thanks!
