Hi there,

Thanks for writing in.

That’s only doable with Pro theme, by using its header builder. You can add multiple header bars and make a header layout similar to that. Unfortunately, X theme only uses a standard header and you can still achieve that but through template customization and we can’t cover any custom development.

Thanks!

In fact you have explained in here . Is that still compatible . thanks . I am not feeling confident to go to the Pro version and i do not wish custom work . I have seen this theme of your website and I just asked you for help :frowning: Could be possible to confirm me if this is still working or what i must bear in mind . Thankks

Here another member of the staff is giving an advice for a topbar .

Hello There,

If you are using X theme, having a double bar would always require you to modify the topbar or navigation to be able to insert the second bar. In the previous threads, all of which were done successfully with custom modification. If you are not familiar with coding, the custom builder in Pro is a much greater tool for you. No coding or any custom modification required. You simply build the header by using the header builder and you can easily have a double or even triple bar with a sticky or non sticky bar behaviour.

Hope this make sense.

I would like to use a custom code that works . I wish to change just this thing in the whole webpage so upgrading to pro is not cost effective . Which is the code that i should use in order to do it thanks

Hi,

Hi there,

What you are trying to achieve could be possible only with custom development, but this would be outside the scope of support we can offer. You may wish to consult a developer to assist you with this. X is quite extensible with child themes, so there are plenty of possibilities.

To give you a head start, you can add this in your child theme functions.php file.

function add_my_bar() {   ?>

<div class="my-bar">
          <div class="my-bar-column"> MY SEARCH</div>
          <div class="my-bar-column"> MY LOGO</div>
          <div class="my-bar-column"> MY CART</div>
</div>

<?php
}
add_action( 'x_after_view_global__slider-above', 'add_my_bar', 10 );

Then add this in Theme Options > CSS

.my-bar {
    display:block;
    text-align:center;
    clear:both;
    overflow:hidden;
    padding:30px;
}

.my-bar-column   {
    display:inline-block;
    vertical-align:middle;
    padding:10px 40px;
}

Thanks for understanding. Take care!
