WooCommerce Disappeared and Plugin Error

Hello. I haven’t edited my site in a few weeks and today I realized that my entire WooCommerce plugin is gone. I tried to install it and I get the following error: Destination folder already exists. /var/www/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/

Any help on this? I’ve uploaded 200+ products to my WooCommerce. I would like to retrieve them if possible.

Hi @dsilva512,

From what you have shared with us it seems that the Woocommerce plugin files are there and that is why you can not install it again.

It must be another problem causing the issue. Please kindly consider that our theme can not have any effect on the plugin to cause it not show as our theme does not have access to the plugin.

The only thing that our theme do is to override some files of the Woocommerce to the theme for styling purposes.

Having said that, we will be happy to take a look into the case and see what is the issue, but before that please kindly follow the steps below:

  • Backup your website completely or contact your hosting service provider and ask them to create a staging version of the website to follow up.
  • Change the theme of the website to something other than our theme and test the case.
  • Deactivate all other plugins and test the case.

kindly get back to us with the result of the steps above and URL/User/Pass of your WordPress dashboard using the Secure Note functionality of the post to follow up the case if you still have problems.

Thank you.

Thanks for clarifying. I have a GoDaddy managed wordpress account and it automatically backs up my page. I simply restored my database to the last date that I made any edits and it fixed it. Not sure what the issue was, but I am glad that my data was backed up!

We’re glad that your issue is not resolved, @dsilva512.
