Woocommerce default product image overridden

In Woocommerce, products with multiple options are automatically selecting the first size and displaying that sku’s mockup image. I would like the main featured image displayed by default, and only show the sku mockup images when the corresponding items is selected from the dropdown.

I can’t seem to find and option in the Woocommerce settings, or the Printful extension settings.
