Hello,

I am interested in making just a couple edits to my WooCommerce Shop page: http://denverhighrises.com/condo-search/.

  1. On the left, could “Search products…” be changed to “Search reports…”?
  2. Can the “Search” button be made smaller?
  3. Could the shopping cart be removed from the buttons on top of the products, and could “Read more” be changed to “READ MORE”?
  4. Could the featured image on the individual product pages be set to display instead of being hidden?

These edits would make my client really happy. :slight_smile: And me too!

Hi There,

Please add the following code under functions.php file llocates in your child theme:

function my_custom_strings($translated_text, $text, $domain) {
	$translated_text = str_replace("Search products…", "Search reports…", $translated_text);
	return $translated_text;
}
add_filter('gettext', 'my_custom_strings', 100, 3);

After that adding this custom CSS under Pro > Theme Options > CSS:

form.woocommerce-product-search button {
    padding: 10px 15px;
    font-size: 14px;
}

form.woocommerce-product-search {
    display: flex;
}

.woocommerce li.product .entry-header .button {
    text-transform: uppercase;
}

I was unable to access your product, could you please provide us with your admin account and password?

Good evening,

Thank you for your thorough response; just a few items are not working/need additional customizations on https://denverhighrises.com/condo-search/:

  1. “Search products…” does not read “Search reports…”
  2. When hovering over a product it reads “READ MORE,” which is great, but also bears a small shopping cart symbol. Is there a way to remove those shopping carts from appearing?
  3. Regarding the featured image on individual product pages being set to display instead of being hidden, please see my credentials in a secure note below. When you log in and click on a specific product, such as https://denverhighrises.com/condo/four-seasons/, you will see an image on the left. When you are not logged in, you will not see that image. The image should always display. :slight_smile:

Hi There,

1.Add the following Javascript code into your Theme Options > Global Javascript area.

jQuery(document).ready(function(){ 
  jQuery("#woocommerce-product-search-field-0").attr("placeholder", "Type a Location");
});

2.To remove the icon, add the following CSS rule into your Theme Options > Global CSS area.

.woocommerce .button.product_type_simple::before, .woocommerce .button.single_add_to_cart_button::before {
    content: "";
}

3.On your referenced page, I see the following error on your console log, which could be the related cause.
Content Security Policy: The page’s settings blocked the loading of a resource at self (“script-src https://js.stripe.com”). Source: ;!function(){var t=0,e=function(t,e){ret....
You need to investigate it further (https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1255746).
