Woocommerce customization with Layout Builder

Hello.

First let me say my appreciation to the theme.co team for building such a great & unique product! I follow your YouTube channel and new tutorials notice for a revolution in WordPress themes, I think! Every year you had a surprise for your customers and that’s amazing!

Recently I need some changes in apperance of Woocommerce My Account page of PRO theme, default style is minimal and so simple. During my search on forum I found you have added some capabilities to Layout Builder of Cornerstone specially for WooCommerce but I don’t know how much it can help me to customize My Account page. I have a few questions about this feature anf I will ask you.

1 - I have built one WC Single layout and then choosed “My Account” from templates modal. After choosing the template, preview window will refresh and I see one section in page which involves last product title and its description.

Why it doesn’t display My Account page in preview window? Of course I find out any change in this preview will be visible on output of default “My Account” page.

2 - On next step I tried Conditions from layout setting. I added a condtion group and choosed “Account” from the dropdown menu but nothing happens! What should this condition do? I switched to other conditions like “Cart” or “Checkout” but no change is visible on the page.

3 - I found that layouts could be created only on default language of website; My website has 3 languages and I thought I can create layout with other languages by clicking on language flag on button of “Layout Builder” area but this idea failed! because while I want to switch language and it asks me for creating a blank OR copying the default language, both return this error message :

At the end I would say I have this imagination from customization through the Layout Builder :

  1. Split “MY Account” page by two columns.
  2. In one column create a custom vertical “My Account” menu.
  3. In other column display the content related to custom link such ( Edit Profile Edit, Orders & …)

Considering the above questions, may I have a customized page as described above?

Thank you in advance.

Hi @omid020,

Thanks for reaching out.
You need to use the Single layout type and assign it to the Specific Page condition for Cart, My Account. You need to add the content or the elements as per the template you are using for the specific page.

Hope it helps.
Thanks

Hi @tristup

If we choose Single layout instead of WC Single layout then we don’t see any woocommerce related conditions like Cart , My Account on dropdown list. I am still confused how conditions may affect on template because I don’t see any visual changes by switching between them!

P.S : I also changed previewing item inside Preview Manager to Account but it reloads preview page to homepage instead of Account Page:

Hello @omid020,

Sorry for your inconvenience, I think that the “my account” page layout preview is not working properly I suspect this could be a bug and have reported it to the developers for investigation.

The feature that you want on the my-account page would require custom development. I would suggest you contact a developer who can assist you with your concern. Please note that we don’t provide custom development support. It is out of the support scope.

Thanks for understanding

Thank you @prakash_s! Ok, can you please tell me will the WooCommerce Orders and WooCommerce Account info (Billing & Shipping) be added to dynamic content & conditions on next releases?

Hello @omid020,

We do not have an ETA for the next releases nor the new features or elements added to the release. Rest assured that our developers are working on it.

Thank you for your understanding.

Thanks for your feedback!
As last question I need to know how can I use layout builder for multilingual website or how the layout is translatable? It seems currently layouts could be created only on default language of website; My website has 3 languages and I thought I can create layout with other languages by clicking on language flag on button of “Layout Builder” area but this idea failed! because while I want to switch language and it asks me for creating a blank OR copying the default language, both return this error message :

Sincerely
Omid

Hi Omid,

The Layout is translatable, to make those translatable please find the Layout option under the WPML > Settings. I went ahead and enable the translate option and now you can translate the layout by clicking into the Flags at the bottom right corner.

Thanks
