WooCommerce Child Theme

Hello @minhajkhan,

Thanks for writing in!

Please click the “View affected templates” so that we will know if the template is coming from the parent theme or the child theme. You should be able to check it in WooCommerce > Status and browse to the bottom of the page. With the latest version of the Pro theme, only one file that is out of date.

You may ignore the message as of this moment. This will not have a big impact in your site. And this will also be fixed once we release the next update cycle anytime soon.

Best Regards.

Hi Again,

I’m facing some major issues and running against time to setup. Need your urgent help.

  1. I’ve updated my wordpress and Pro themes.
  2. I enabled SSL certificate on the portal using zerossl.
  3. I activated WooCommerce plugin too

By making these changes i noticed that my media gallery stopped working. So to troubleshoot i disabled all the plugins and tested - same problem. Next i activated another theme - problem solved.

I’m using the child theme and dont know how to go about solving this. I need to have this up and running in a few hours and would appreciate your prompt response.

Hey @minhajkhan,

This is because of incorrect SSL setup which is beyond the control of our theme. Your WordPress Admin should also use SSL and HTTP must be redirected to HTTPS. Please contact your web host if they can help correct the HTTPS setup of your site. If they don’t have that service, you need to hire a third-party developer for this. Once you have fixed your SSL or HTTPS setup, Pro will work.

Also, you must replace HTTP with HTTPS in the builders’ content to avoid mixed content issues. To do that, you can follow this thread: https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/https-not-showing-padlock/59687/2?u=christian_y

I’d also recommend not to mix topics in one thread as that often causes confusion and as a result, our response times will be affected. That will increase your waiting time.

Thanks.
