WooCommerce Checkout taking 4+ minutes - X Renew

Hey Guys,

I’m having issues with the checkout process on my site taking anywhere between 4 and 8 minutes. This is between the “Place Order” and the order confirmation screen.

I am not sure what is causing these issues but I believe it might be related to X.

X: 6.4.2
Wordpress: 5.0.1
WooCommerce: 3.5.2

PHP / MYSQL: 7.2 / 3.5.2

You should be able to replicate the issue yourself when checking out, the payment mode should be set to test so no money is charged.

Hey @clovisd,

The whole buy to checkout process didn’t take long on my end. Please watch the screen recording in the secure note.

We also need to know if X is really the cause of the issue so you will need to test switching to the default WordPress theme then test the process.

After that, please also test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

I also see you’re using Stripe and checking out connects to their website which might also be a factor on your end.
