Woocommerce checkout page layout problem

Hello,
I have a problem with the layout of the checkout page. Until a few days ago it was correct, then following an update (I don’t remember if the theme or Wordpress) the layout no longer appears as it should be displayed.
Attached you will find the screenshot of the frontend:

and the screenshot of the backend where the page is still displayed correctly:

How can I solve this problem?
In a secure note I enclose username and password for access to the site, you can also delete the personalized CSS code (I made a backup) that you find entirely in Theme Options -> CSS.

Thanks, good job and have a good day

Hi @solid7d,

Thank you for reaching out to us. I checked your setup and I see you’re using the latest version of WooCommerce i.e v4.0.0 however the latest supported version is v3.8.1 (please see https://theme.co/docs/version-compatibility)

Try downgrading the WooCommerce version to the supported one to fix the issue. You can download the previous versions by visiting https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce/advanced/

Let us know how this goes!

Thank you @nabeel.
I think I’m going to downgrade, but first I’d like to ask you a couple of things:

  • What is the safest way to downgrade? Do I manually replace the files through FTP or do I uninstall the plugin and reinstall it or in another way?

  • Wouldn’t it be dangerous for the site or e-commerce to have an out-of-date version of Woocommerce?

  • Usually when these incompatibilities between Pro and Woocommerce occur, how long does it take for a Pro update to restore compatibility? Obviously I’m not asking you for a precise timing, I would just like to know if there is an indicative time in which these problems are usually solved … three / four days, two weeks, a month … can you give me an idea?

Thanks and have a good day

Hello @solid7d,

Thanks for updating in!

  • You can simply put your site in under construction mode, deactivate the latest WooCommerce and delete it. You can get the previous supported version here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce/advanced/ and install it in your site.

  • You can always check the WooCommerce changelog for any vulnerability and security updates to make sure that the current installed version is safe and secured.

  • Usually we wait for a stable WooCommerce version and then do a conflict and compatibility test. Once everything check out, then we roll out a release update cycle.

Please do watch out for it.

Hi @ruenel,
thanks for the reply.

Have a good day
