WooCommerce Checkout Editor Bug

The WooCommerce Checkout Editor does not add the fields to the user customer info in the dashboard. It only adds it to the checkout form which is not helpful.

i.e. you can see the additional fields here xxxx/wp-admin/profile.php

Any chance this can be fixed?

Sometimes we need to add customers manually and we also need to view the information in the dashboard.

Hi @urchindesign,

The WooCommerce Checkout Editor plugin will add or edit the Fields in the Checkout Page and that is related to the WooCommerce order details. It does not add any information to the Users which can be seen at WordPress dashboard.

To add the additional information to the User, you need to add the user meta fields. I would suggest you go through the following article on this.

Hope it helps.
Thanks

Ok thanks. First time using this plugin and seems to doesn’t do what I want.

Anyway I have built in my own custom solution as in this case the client places orders for the people that add the VAT number.

Not having the number attached to anything except the order didn’t work in this scenario.

Hi @urchindesign,

It seems that you have created a custom plugin and having issues with it, regretfully custom development is beyond the scope of theme support.

I would suggest you hire a developer who can assist you to do the customization or you can avail of our newly launched service called One, where the customization questions are answered.

Thanks

As I said. Your plugin did not do what I expected.

As such I have built my own which is working just fine.

I do not need a developer, I was just letting you know I have sorted it out myself.

Hi @urchindesign,

Sorry for the confussion, glad to know that you have sorted it out.

Thanks
