Woocommerce Checkout editor add single text field

Hi,

Is there likely to be a fix to the Woo checkout editor issue with HPOS soon?

If not can you suggest an alternative, I am trying to add a single required text field to the checkout page, I have tried a few different methods with ACF Pro but so far been unsuccessful. I have used the Woo checkout editor in the past and know I can achieve what I need to with that.
