Hi @mcvanz,
I checked the admin area of your site and “Cornerstone” (Pro Builder to be more precise), is not loading properly, so I cannot see how it looks on the back-end.
Are you now experiencing it?
If so, let’s address the two issues. Let’s start with the Cornerstone not loading issue.
A quick action would be to clear your SiteGround SG Optimizer cache. If that doesn’t solve the Pro builder loading issue, try the next step.
The next thing to try is to upgrade to the latest version of Pro, which is 3.0.2. Try if that solves it.
If that doesn’t solve it, try changing the active theme from Pro Child to just Pro. This test will let you determine whether there’s something in the customizations of the child theme that we need to look at. If you change the active theme to just Pro and it solves one or all of the problems, then it’s definitely worth looking at which parts of the custom codes are causing the problem.
If that doesn’t solve it, try testing for plugin conflicts. How you would do that is to try deactivating plugins one-by-one and seeing after each deactivation which one removes the issue. If after you deactivate a plugin the problem goes away, it is the most likely culprit.
Now that I’m thinking of it, either the customizations in the child theme or a conflict with the plugins is causing the empty checkout as well. So the tests you’ll do will hit two issues.
Tell us how it goes. If you need more assistance, feel free to reach out to us.
Hi there,
I’ve tried the two steps (clearing cache + using Pro and not Child). In the end it’s a woocommerce error. With all plugins deactivated i can see the Pro builder structure in frontend, when I active woocommerce all desappear. Can you help me?
Hi Roberto,
We’re sorry you’re still having this issue. There’s no report about this on our issue tracker, and I tried it to using the latest PRO, same Wordpress version and Woocommerce 3.7. It is working for me: https://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/cq6VIPu6d5
Can you please try reinstalling Woocommerce? Let’s see if your woocommerce installtion is corrupted. Note to always save a backup first.
Let us know how this goes.
Hey Roberto,
Sorry for the confusion. We have reports that WooCommerce Checkout does not work with Pro Content Builder or Cornerstone if the WC checkout shortcode is inserted in a V2 element. This, however, is a server issue. In some servers, it works while other don’t.
I inserted the checkout shortcode in a Classic Text Element and it works.
Please just note that the WC Checkout shortcode was not intended to be inserted in another shortcode which is the case if you use Cornerstone. With that said, we can’t guarantee that there will be no issues with your setup. If you can, please use WordPress’ Text Editor.
Hope that helps.
Hi Christian, thanks a lot for your help!
If I’ve correctly understood I can’t use cornerstone (or Pro Builder) to paginate the checkout page?
But… Can I ask you something more?
The layout of the new builder does not display (now I’ve set it up) the right column with a text. How do I set display rules?
Where am I wrong? This seems very new!
Thanks again!
Roberto
Hey Roberto,
Cornerstone does not have a feature that could paginate the checkout page. You’d need to hire a developer to do that or find a plugin that could do that.
What do you mean by “the layout of the new builder does not display” and “How do I set display rules”? Please provide us with more context or details.
Thanks.
I mean that the right column (on backend) is not on correctly despite I have created and made visible (but I’m looking for mine mistake )
Here my backend
Here my frontend
Hi @mcvanz,
I did go ahead and change your Section to Classic Section, you can do that by holding the crtl
or cmd
key then clicking the add Section.
Cheers!
