Woocommerce Category and Product Pages wrapped with X Pro Header/Slider/Footer

Hi there - what I’m trying to do is build out a header/slider/footer in X Them Pro that can be applied to my WooCommerce category and product pages. I know that I can just create new pages with a Raw Content block and use a shortcode to load contents in, but by doing that I miss out on some things that get added with the WooCommerce pages, like having the ability to sort items, the breadcrumb display, etc. Even more importantly, though, is that I’d like the normal category and product slugs to link to the correct places.

Ideally, each “category” page would have a unique slider at the top, with the standard Woocommerce category page loading the products for that category. Each individual product page would then just have a standard header slider that they all use.

Hello @cmopower,

Thanks for writing in!

Please create a custom header and custom footer. You can then assign this new header and footer to the WooCommerce pages. If you only have one custom header or footer, you can assign it as global so that it will be included in the WooCommerce product category pages.

Hope this helps.

I see that I can assign the headers to individual product pages when editing content in Pro, but how would this work for dynamically created pages, such as the category pages?

Hello @cmopower,

The category and other archive pages cannot be assigned in the header or footer. You must assign the header/footer as global instead.

Hope this helps.
