WooCommerce Cart Styling Issues!

Hi, I’m working on a WooCommerce site using your theme and in Theme Options > WooCommerce, there are a few controls that aren’t working:

  1. I’ve changed the ‘Cart Information’ to ‘Single (Inner)’ but nothing happens.

  2. I’ve changed the ‘Cart Layout’ to ‘Stacked’ but it’s still showing it as Inline.

  3. I’ve changed the ‘Cart Content-Inner’ to ‘Icon’ but again nothing happens.

I’m not too sure if it’s a glitch or a conflict, but I’ve turned all the other plugins off and it’s still not working.

I’ll put the URL in a secure note as it’s being built on a temp link.

Thanks!

Hi @core365,

Thank you for reaching out to us. I tested the WooCommerce options locally and I can replicate the issue on my end as well, I’ve submitted this to our issue tracker so the developers will be made aware of it.

Thank you for understanding!

Hi @nabeel,

So what does that mean for me in the meantime?!! I’d still like to have the Cart Layout Stacked and change the Cart Content Inner to an Icon. Is there any CSS that you can give me that will get around the options not working automatically?

Thanks!

Hi @Core365,

Changing to stacked layout with custom CSS could be possible, but not changing the content (inner nor outer). But I’m only seeing the single cart icon on your navbar right now so I’m not really sure what to stack.

Hi @friech,

That’s really weird! I’ve just cleared my cache and refreshed my page and I can see the same thing too! It seems the problem is, when I change anything to do with the cart settings in Theme Options > WooCommerce I then have to clear my cache afterwards every time to see the changes! I don’t know if that’s just me or if this is the case for everyone, but it doesn’t happen when I make changes to anything else as I see it straight away and don’t need to clear my cache!

Thanks!

Hello @core365,

You may have installed a caching plugin or that your hosting has a caching mechanism. In addition, by default, WooCommerce is using fragment cache which usually cached the cart contents. It’s just good to know that you have figured it out already.

Best Regards.
