Woocommerce breadcrumbs shop title, Yoast SEO breadcrumb not working

Hi, I’m looking for a way to change the Woocommerce breadcrumbs shop title.

It seems to have been possible with over versions of X, I can’t seem to find it in X 6.0.4.

Edit: I have all the necessary titles specifies in the Yoast SEO breadcrumb fields, including the store, but they are not being displayed in the X breadcrumbs. Are they reading these fields, or does X just read the page tile for the breadcrumb?

Thanks.

Ok, I got this working by adding the code from here in the child theme function.php, but it didn’t work well and the formatting was a little off. I worked around my issue by editing/shortening my page titles, keeping the Yoast SEO page titles optimal, and using the X breadcrumbs instead.

Hello @Osztreicher,

Thanks for asking.

Glad that you found the solution. However, if you are still facing issues with the formatting, can you please share website URL for us to take a closer look so we can provide you the necessary codes?

Thanks.

Thank you, but I have used the X breadcrumbs and the formatting is fine. Adding code to my functions.php seems to slow my site down and has mixed results, so I try to avoid using methods that require me to do that. Also, there is no point if I can use builtin functionality and just be more flexible in my site development.

Hello There,

Thanks for updating in! Regretfully Yoast Breadcrumb has not been integrated to the theme. That is why you need the code to be able to display the Yoast breadcrumb into the site. If you use the built in X breadcrumbs, the page titles or alternate page titles will be displayed in the breadrumbs.

Hope this explains it briefly.
