WooCommece services plugin

Hey all!

Im trying to set up woocommerce services plug in to work on X.

For the most part Woocommerce works, I wanted to get the woocommerce services plugin to work as well because it will print out shipping labels and figure out taxes. It installs but none of the features show up. I talked to woo commerce support. They were getting an error “that transport error: http_request_failed cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 15001 milliseconds with 0 bytes received. error usually means that the host is limiting access to your site’s xmlrpc.php file. They wanted me to talk to my hosting company.

I talked to my hosting company and they said they didn’t limit it and it was a problem with the cornerstone plug in. I disable the plugin - it broke the site and the woocommerce services plug in still didn’t work.

This the the error message we got

[27-Jan-2020 17:27:49 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function x_get_option() in /home2/fourthde/public_html/burnsseverson/redz/wp-content/plugins/cornerstone/includes/extend/portfolio.php:31

Im not quite sure what to do. I realize this is not a plugin that was bundled with X, but I was wondering if you had an idea of what to do.

The support page I was on before was here if that helps out.

Thanks again for any help you can provide.

Hi @Burns4,

Cornerstone is a required plugin and it cannot be disabled. Most of the functionality will not work if you do this.

This error is definitely a server setup issue.

Make sure X and Cornerstone are both updated. If the issue persists, you could try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

About woocommerce services, unfortunately, we cannot adjust it on our side. The theme are coded based on wordpress standards but we cannot always adjust for incompatibility because there’s so many plugins out there. You might need to consult a web developer about this. Thank you for understanding.

I ended reinstalling woo commerce and it seemed to work. I had to add some line of code so the database was wiped. It seemed good now. Thank you for your help.

Hello Burns,

You’re most welcome!
We’re glad @Lely were able to help you out.

Regards.
