Hi Carlos,

Thank you for writing in, please do the following:

  • Ensure that you are fully up to date. WordPress, Theme, and Cornerstone, and WooCommerce. The latest supported version of WooCommerce is 3.8.1. (Version Compatibility)
  • Clear all the site caches (plugin, server-side, CDN, and browser’s cache) so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors. Please deactivate this caching features while we tackle this issue.
  • Do not edit your Checkout page inside Cornerstone. Just paste the [woocommerce_checkout] shortcode using the Wordpress default editor.
  • Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

Let us know how it goes,
Cheers!

Hello there!

Thanks for the reply.

None of the suggestions worked… I do however need to update woo commerce on my child theme and the woo commerce site is telling me to reach out to woocommerce for that.

Is there any way i could get assistance with that?

Hey Carlos,

Friech didn’t mention that you switch to the parent theme to check if your child theme is causing the issue. Please do this because it’s important for us to know if the parent theme is the cause of the issue.

Regarding your question, I’m sorry to say that no, we do not provide assistance for child theme issues. You will need to forward custom code issues to your developer.

Thanks.

Hello

We have updated our themes and plugins and the templates are still outdated. is there any way we can get the updated templates?

Also, looks like some CSS edits could do the trick. Could you kindly provide with the proper CSS to solve the issue if possible?

Thanks!

We also just realized that we have woocommerce 3.9.1… and you mentioned that you ony support up until 3.8. could this perhaps be the issue?

Hello Carlos,

I have investigated your checkout page. It seems that a Bootstrap css is causing an issue. This could be caused by a 3rd party plugin. You could try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

Please let us know how it goes.
