Could anyone help / advise : I’m getting a ridiculously long wait to the first ping, like 20 seconds "
Once the wait is over it loads quickly enough.
My Host suggests there’s nothing ‘wrong’ but suggested I migrate to their Linux servers as they’re ‘better adapted to wordpress’
Could anyone vouch for this, concerned about doing it as I’d probably need to rebuild the site !
Hi,
Yes, we recommend a linux server as well.
You can use this third party plugin to migrate your site.
Hope that helps.
Thanks … really helpful
You are most welcome.
