Widget Differences - RSS vs RSS Import

hi

I notice in the available widgets there is both RSS and RSS Import. May I ask what the difference between the two is, please?

Will either of them allow me to bring in a single article from a website? We have been contributing to a local newspaper in the area and would like to be able to feature our articles whenever they appears. Is this at all possible with either of those widgets?

RSS widget is a default and built in widget in WordPress. For more information about this widget, you can check this out: https://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/rss-widget/

RSS Import may have came from other plugins that you have installed in your site.

Hello,

To accomplish this, you`ll need to hire a developer to customize a single page to display it.
