Hi,
- For some posts I wrote a meta description in yoast. Now it is displayed as a intro in the blog overview. How can I make my original text to be shown?
Thank you!

Hello Nimue,
Thanks for writing in!
Please add following CSS under X/Pro > Theme Options > CSS:
.x-sidebar .entry-date {
display: none !important;
}
Can you please share the exact page URL for us to take a closer look?
Thanks.
of course!
I just want the description to be the first sentences of my blogpost

Hello Nimue,
Thanks for updating in!
Please understand that the Articles archive will display the post excerpts. Post Excerpts are taken dynamically from the very first 55 words (by default) from your post content. Yoast meta description on the other hand is just a metadata of the post and can never be part of your post excerpts.
If you want to display an excerpt the same as your meta description, I would highly suggest that you edit each of your respective posts and then add a manual excerpts. You can add the excerpt the same as you have added in the meta description. Manual Excerpts are optional hand-crafted summaries of your content that can be used in your theme. Learn more about manual excerpts here.
Hope this helps.
