Why the anchor links doesn't work in safari (both desktop and iPhone)

In my homepage (http://jackchan.hk), why the anchor links (books, homestay) on the top doesn’t work in safari? I tried in chrome, it works.

In safari, if I open development tool, I see the error TypeError: undefined is not an object (evaluating ‘t.$anchor.closest’)

Hello Jack,

I have checked your site and it looks like you updated Cornerstone to the latest version but left X not updated which is causing a conflict issue.

Kindly make sure to also update your X version and clear your site’s cache.

Thanks Jade. I have just updated to theme X 7.2.2, but it is still not working on the safari on my mac and iPhone. The interesting thing is, it is still working on the safari in iPad. Why is that?

Hey There,

This sounds like a caching issue and since you are using Cloudflare please make sure to clear the cache there and/or activate the Development Mode which will clear all cache so you have a consistent experience on all devices.

Thanks Robin. I have tried, it is still not working. Cloudflare development mode, clear all cache in server, clear all cache in browser, all won’t work. May I know if you are seeing the issue at your side as well?

I found out the issue now. It was caused by the minifying functions or the rocket acceleration function in Cloudflare. Switching them off solves the issue. Thanks!
