This last update to the X theme blew out all my custom php files and codes. Websites are much more than pretty pictures and words. Dynamic functions are critical to some sites. Why would you design an update that ruins all the code which means more money and more work? We paid for this theme. We should have a stable environment and not see everything crash when you make an update. This show no respect for you customers.
Hey there, I’m sorry to hear you’ve had issues with the update. What was it that you had customized? And were you modifying the theme or plugins directly? When an update happens, the theme folder is fully replaced with a fresh site of files, so you may want to look into using a child theme.
