Why do not the button design settings from Globals apply to individual buttons on pages?

Hello,

I have just started to create a new website after not doing such thngs for several years, so I apologize for dummy questions.

I have set the button design in Global settings, I chose flat style, square shape, regular size, all colours. But when I choose button elemnet during individual page design, I see completely different type of button.

Hello Kamil,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Please note that the Theme Options Global Settings serve as the default styling configuration for standard site elements, including:

  • Default pages and post templates
  • Standard post items
  • Basic form fields and containers
  • System-generated buttons

These settings apply to components that are not built using the Cornerstone builder .

If you have created custom layouts or pages within Cornerstone, any buttons or elements added there will not inherit these global styles. Custom builder content retains its independently configured styling.

Should you require further details or have additional questions, please feel free to let us know. We’re happy to help.

Best Regards.
