Why are my Menu items not visible?

Hello,
I’m refreshing my website personally. Over the years, external parties have inserted entries into my CSS as I am not trained in that.
All my webpages are now re-designed independent of theme settings. However my Forms and Woocommerce pages have not been touched. I have changed the font in theme option to black (from white previously). But when the Menu icon is clicked, the items are not visible. Please see screenshot attached. I tried looking for entries in the CSS on white font, but couldn’t find any,

Can guide me how to diagnose the problem? Also in the 2nd screenshot, you will see that Menu icon is totally missing. How do I get it to be displayed?

It seems that the Theme Options settings are changed and now the product page is looking completely different than what is shown in the screenshot also the menus are visible on the desktop. I have also checked the Mobile navigation and found that the text color is set to the almost same color as the background and that is why it is not visible. I would suggest you change it from Theme Options > Header > Links > Color and check if that resolves your problem.

Thank you @tristup. It helped indeed. Your pictures were extremely instructional - I learnt for the 1st time that I can now use Inspect Element to check like what you have shown.

Actually, after 6 years, I had re-read your documentation on layout and headers this morning. Perhaps I missed it - I never would have guessed that Menu items (that cascade downwards when Menu icon is clicked) are part of ‘header’ and specified as ‘links’! What a revelation for me. Perhaps other beginners reading this will find this beneficial. Thank you for educating and empowering us.
