Half of my images are square like the originals and half are cropped.
I want the images to be square.
Also,I would like the title to appear as I hover over the image. Is that possible?

That is technically possible. However, that would fall beyond the scope of our support since it would require custom development.
I recommend you to switch to the Renew stack instead:
