Why am I not seeing a site background?

I’m trying to achieve a background image for the entire home page. Something along the lines of this site https://seedlipdrinks.com/uk/. Is this possible?

Static background and content which scrolls over the background.

I have tried to follow the instructions in the docs for the site wide background but i don’t see any changes. Color, pattern, image. nothing???

I created a test page and I can see the background image, but sections are solid white. I see no way of making them transparent.

Setting background for individual sections obviously wont work. So what should I do?

Thanks for writing in! The global page background image can be added in Pro > Theme Options > Layout And Design > Background Options. You may need a custom css to make the image static and make the content wrap as transparent since by default it is in white.
