White label - costumise dashboard & user roles

Hello,
I was waiting for the last theme update in the hope that it would restore the White Label option in settings.
I would like to remove menus and give access to widgets and menus based on user roles.

Can you explain me how to achieve that?

Thanks

Hey,

Please, could you be more specific about this “white label”? And you can use this plugin to accomplish the roles` questions: https://wordpress.org/plugins/user-role-editor/

Hello John,

The White Label Extension the Themeco X theme offers…
Not sure what you mean by specific.

In the description of the White Label CMS plugin it is explained that you can remove menus and give access to widgets and menus based on user roles. It should work through the Settings menu ‘white label’.

White Label is activated and can now be found under the X > Extensions menu. But the settings-menu entry is still not visible.

Can you please explain how I can costumise the dashboard menu for different types of users?

Thanks

Hi, there,

Sorry for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, the White Label description on plugin’s list is outdated, referencing an old feature that is not available anymore as add-ons menu is not used so far in the Overview screen.

Please consider now only the “Customize the WordPress login screen”.

Thanks!
