White Background when it is set to

On one of my sites I am working on (www.dbsbiggame.com) an area has a white background when it should have a image with a color over it. If you go to www.dbsbiggame.com you will see it where it says ROUND ONE. I have added an image showing the white background, but it should continue to have the purple patterned background… how do I fix it?

Hello There,

Thanks for writing in! It seems that the sections where not in order. This could have happen when you have inserted a broken html code. Could you please provide us access to your site so that we can investigate further?

Thank you in advance.

I wasn’t sure how to post the details so I did a secure note with login details …

For some reason the pricing field is missing also lower on the page when I am in the editor, but shows on the actual page:

Hello @dannycort,

Thanks for updating the thread.

I checked the website and can confirm the problem you are facing. To test the page and the layout I saved the page as template and then imported the same into my local dev setup. Over there I can see the background and pricing information showing up fine. Here’s a screencast.

I see a continuous red spinning icon on the bottom right hand side of the screen on your website. Here’s a screenshot.

I checked the website at W3validator and though there are some error messages it does not indicate something wrong with the page. In that regards looking at the website setup I see couple of possibilities:

  • I see that you are using cache plugin along with Cloudflare. I suggest please clear cloudflare cache and put it in development mode.

  • Plugin conflict: Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third-party plugins, and see if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks.

So I cleared the cache on Cloudflare, then put it into development mode. I turned off my caching pluging, and checked, did not fix it. …

After turning off each plugin, one by one, then checking the editor to see if the price part appeared & if the background was fixed on the front end I found … that it was the same with every plugin disabled (besides cornerstone)…

Any other ideas?

Hi There,

Please add a ROW on the Schedule section, or remove it if its not necessary.

Make sure all your section has at least one ROW.

Hope it helps,
Cheers!

I deleted that section (didn’t need it) and it fixed the background problem.

Any idea why the pricing part is not showing up in the editor?

Hi There,

I did go ahead and fix that as well.

Here was the issue.

The order of your closing </u> and </b> tag is reverse. This was the case on all your pricing headline.

Since we can not see that pricing element because of the issue, We need to view the page in Skeleton Mode to inspect that pricing element.

Cheers!

Thank you & good to know!

You’re welcome.
