Which Member Account Plug in system should I use?

I tried the X Whitelabel but I dont understand how that applies (from a forum question that suggested to use it if I wanted the ability for users to sign in and create their account.

How can my website have the feature to allow users to sign in or create an account? What plugin can I use or where can I develop that?

Thanks
