Where to put CSS Code?

There appear to be two locations to add CSS code

Appearance> Customize > “Additional CSS”

Pro >Theme Options > CSS

I have been adding all changes in “Additional CSS”. The Theme Options > CSS is blank. What is the difference or are they the same?
Is one preferable over the other?

Hi Loren,

Thank you for writing in, the Appearance> Customize > Additional CSS is the native Wordpress’ custom CSS area. That feature will be there regardless of the Theme you use.

While the Pro >Theme Options > CSS is the Theme’s custom CSS area, it’s a feature of our Theme X and PRO.

Both work the same, there is no right or wrong there, but it’s preferable to use the Theme Options > CSS because that takes the priority over the Additional CSS in case of a conflict CSS.

Hope this shed some lights,
Cheers!
