Where/how do I add a shortcode in Cornerstone?

I’m trying to add the Category Specific RSS plugin/element to my blog posts. I’ve installed the plugin, read the instructions, but I still don’t know wehere/how to install the shortcode in a post using X-Theme and Cornerstone. Thanks in advance for your help.

Hello @kelleyhg,

Thanks for asking. Hope you’re having a great day. :slight_smile:

In Cornerstone page builder, you can add the shortcodes using Text or Classic Raw Content element. In the following screencast that I have recorded, have tried to show how you can add shortcodes in Classic Raw and Text element. https://cl.ly/0J3P2q0a071z

Thanks.

Prasant, thank you very much. I was able to install the short codes successfully. My next question:

When someone clicks on the RSS link, they get a lot of code (see below). Is that what is supposed to happen?

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><rss version="2.0"
xmlns:content="http://purl.org/rss/1.0/modules/content/"
xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/"
xmlns:atom="http://www.w3.org/2005/Atom"
xmlns:sy="http://purl.org/rss/1.0/modules/syndication/"

Hello @kelleyhg,

Thanks for asking. :slight_smile:

I think you are using Google Chrome and that’s why it’s showing up the code. Google Chrome does have issues displaying feeds. Have you tried using Mozilla Firefox? Please try the same it should work without any issues in Firefox.

Please let us know how it goes.

Thanks.
