Where are my presets? Are they still accessible somewhere?

Hi,

I found another thread about presets, but it didn’t help with my current problem. I have presets set for all types of items…not just elements. Namely , column styling. I saw in the other thread to look in the Library for presets, but it doesn’t seem to have any for columns or rows, just pages and sections.

I tried using the right-click Copy and then Paste Style functions, but those don’t seem to work on from one page to another.

Is there any way to access my presets? That seems like a big thing a lot of us use to save time that has simply disappeared from the latest version.

Thanks,
Jen

It looks like they’re in the Editor > Elements (the box). However, I haven’t found a way to apply them to an existing element. We use presets for headers a lot, and can drag a new header in, but not apply it to something already in place.

If anyone has advice, I’m all for it.

Hello There,

Thanks for writing in! in the new Cornerstone version, every time you save an element settings, it automatically becomes an element template which you can easily insert it as a new element.

And adding the newly saved “My Button” element template:

Hope this helps.

So how do you apply a ‘preset’? This just creates a new element with the template.

Hey @Sky77,

The “Presets” were replaced. Instead of just saving the element styles, it is now saved as an element template where insert as a new element. If you already have a button in place and you want to apply a preset, it is no longer available. You will just have to insert the saved element template.

Hope this helps.
