When I insert a new row, element, or anything else, it does not appear. It shows that there is a row with the little blue flags, but I cannot get in and edit it. Also, when I add elements, they are not showing up anywhere.

It seems that you have updated Cornerstone but left X with an older version that is causing an incompatibility issue.
Kindly make sure to update X as well and clear your site and browser cache after updating.
