When I create a new Archive Layout, it already includes elements of homepage and don't see how to delete them

Hello,

I am trying to create an Archive Layout for a custom post type (Artists)…when i do that, the initial page already has all the elements of the homepage…but i don’t see how to remove that such that it’s blank with just the list of those posts.

I would suggest you please click on the preview button —>Set the post type and select you post type.
